Anton Writes: Ah, the ending. Full circle. While I like the wet footsteps (they look a bit like oil now that I look back on it) my favourite part is the drunk dude on the dock.

Calling all Gerard fans! To our suprise and delight, the first Brigadier Gerard strip, The Crime of the Brigadier, or, How Brigadier Gerard Slew the Fox, generated quite a bit of interest amongst fans of this kind of thing. As it happens, we did another Brigadier Gerard story for Graphic Classics: How the Brigadier Came to the Castle of Gloom.

We had intended to run another strip first, but due to the interest shown in the first Gerard strip, we've decided to press ahead and start running Castle of Gloom from Sunday. Thanks for showing an interest in our humble efforts, and we hope you enjoy the strip!

Anton writes: The last panel here - where they're butting heads -  is one of my favourites. I think I went a bit overboard with some of the grey tones in other parts of the strip, but this panel has nice balance of black, white, and grey.

And now for the latest exciting, hit-attracting episode of NICK MILLER, HERO OF SPACE!

Nick writes: Antonella and I have just decided to re-write and re-draw this strip as a full-blown graphic novel. I think I'll start on it this week, so be on the lookout for the start of the new version of the story from next weekend, running alongside the three-frame version we've already commenced. If there's anybody out there reading this, we'd be interested to know which format, three-frame or full-page, you think works best.

In the meantime, Antonella is about to start writing a sequel, so this won't be like one of those US TV shows that gets suddenly cancelled mid-season just when you're getting into it.
